About Us

Walking tours should be cool, modern, and engaging. They are for everyone: visitors, locals, history buffs and casual observers. Consider this a stroll through the city with a friend, occasionally looking up to glance at something beautiful or peculiar.

Manahatta Tours aims to connect people to New York City’s past, from its original natural landscape of hills and streams, to the isolated colonial settlement bordering a vast wilderness, to the global metropolis and cultural hub it is today. Happening weekly, we aim to redefine what guided tours can be, reaching a broad audience including those who might not normally join a guided tour or think it is something they would enjoy. We purposefully remain small in order to ensure a unique, engaging, and above all fun experience.

“It was never built for the comfort and happiness of its citizens, but to astonish the world.”
